    Just watching sports tonight and Alan Matthews has beaten stiff competition to win the irish sportswriter of the year award.

    Rico interviewed him and he mentioned about when his love of the eircom league started when he was a baby aged 2 goin to a game in milltown

    Well done Alan ,very well deserved!
    Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

    First time ever Longford made the League Cup Semi and beyond.
    Solid finish in the League.
    FAI Cup winners.
