I think it's ridiculous seeing a player wearing numbers like 37 or 41 (like Gilzean did for Pats a while ago).
Could have advantages?
I'm not particularily a fan of but does have advantages in a relaunched league as those occasional spectators might know the names of the players.
In this tv & marketing age it could make the league look a bit more professional?
