Not sure if this has been posted, but Dewsbury Hall should be discounted now.

Ryan Sean Doherty, a 17 year old centre midfielder, has recently broken into the first team at League 1 Stevenage and is reportedly being chased by some bigger clubs. I don't know whether he's eligible for Ireland or not, but obviously quite an Irish sounding name and he certainly passes the "big Irish head" test also for whatever that's worth!

Just saw an Aodhan Doherty on bench for Blackburn and see he an underage NI player
Surely he’s an Irish Northerner rather than a British one.
Anyone know anything about him?
Yes, Belfast lad from a nationalist background obviously. Has played for Linfield and for the north through the underage grades. Ultimately it's far easier to get international recognition for the north than for us, so loads of examples of northern nationalists going local these days. Very few Belfast players have ever played at senior level for Ireland anyway, Mark Sykes obviously being the recent exception. They just need to not rock the boat and stare blankly at the ground when that anthem is playing and they'll be fine I suppose!

Conor Haughey, Northern Ireland U-19 defender, has made three appearances for Fleetwood in the EFL Trophy before making his League Two debut on New Year’s Day against Grimsby. Statistics show his passing accuracy to be very good, but his 'duels won' figures are not great. Nevertheless, "sources" have told football journalist Pete O'Rourke that Premier League and Championship clubs are taking an interest.

Shane Lacey just came in for Man U with 30 mins to go. Still eligible for us
And managed to get booked twice during his short stint on the pitch!
True, but he looked very lively. One for the future for either country
There's no suggestion that this player has any interest in playing for us, is there? He seems fairly established in the England underage setup. Usually the only time we would be likely to bring in a player in that position is when he is overage for the England age groups and not getting a senior call up.
Some of the usual suspects on twitter/X are trying to convince their followers that because his brother(boxer Paddy Lacey) fights with a tricolour on his shorts that he'll accept a call up. Personally, I think that a player who's represented England at every level from U15 to U20 and has already trained with the senior team has zero interest in playing for Ireland
Agreed, though an enquiry should still be made. But imagine this has already taken place behind the scenes.
The one we should really be trying to convince is JJ Gabriel.
