Three senior caps though? That changes the moral equation, surely?
A little bit, maybe.
But we called him up initially as a kid and Ireland wasn't even close to being considered his first nationality.
The dude abides....
Irish-born Dennis Cirkin has left Spurs to join Sunderland
I'd be surprised if Cirkin ends up being an England player in the long run. But probably more likely to play for Latvia than for us.
This has probably been asked before, but is Todd Cantwell eligible?
Anyone know the situation with Val Adeokum, the kid that just moved from Dundalk to Brentford?
A quick look at his Instagram shows him in Ireland and Nigeria kits, Nigeria seems to be more recent for him.
Where do we get these bell ends from!
Just decide and f""k off

Have not heard about this guy in a while => https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/57008742 / Marcus McGuane
Knocked out of the league cup on Tuesday night.
The pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist thinks it will change; the realist adjusts the sails.
Was it ever clarified if the new rules make him eligible?
Classic case of a silly decision at 16 effectively ending his international career.
They don't, he's gone - couldn't play for us now if he wanted to and, to be honest, he's not good enough anyway.
Mad how these things work out. I was definitely disappointed when he plumped for England and then moved from Arsenal to Barcelona. Now he's sharing a team with Luke McNally and Mark Sykes who came through the set ups of Drogheda/Pats and Glenavon. It would be ironic and could well be likely for Sykes and McNally to get a senior cap having had little experience for Ireland at underage level (for differing reasons but maybe Sykes wouldn't have got in anyway).
To be fair he was excellent when he played in the euro under 17s for us a year out of his age group. He hadn't been involved for us before that and was somewhat parachuted into that squad https://www.fai.ie/ireland/news/moha...onships-finals . Disappointing to see number of players who didn't make it as professional s .
