Young Dalton sounds very Irish alright. When he grows up he'll be on Fox News calling for the forced castration of all poor people or something like that.

No doubt we will lose players at times but I really doubt Obafemi is going to bail on us after being snubbed for one squad. In any event Obafemi should be in the Nations League squad. Kenny thinks he can't play in the system? Bring him in and coach him during training and tell him what he needs to do.
I just have a feeling about Obafemi. I'm still not convinced he's good enough for me to be disappointed either
Let's just remind ourselves that Kenny didn't pick Obafemi; the player didn't turn down a call up, and indeed expressed annoyance at his omission.
What is it about Obafemi that engenders these doubts about his commitment? What is it about him, in particular, that apparently means he has more to prove?

Apart from O'Neill's comments about the player "having a decision to make" to which Obafemi immediately responded with that epic picture of him beaming in an Ireland jersey with the words "All In" or something to that effect, I really don't see any reason to doubt his loyalty.
At every stage his loyalty seems to be questioned -- and most of his "attitude" seems to be frustration at not being included. I'm fine with that given all the guys we've had associated with us over the years who seemed to pick and choose when they'd show up.
I don't have anything against him, and I hope he goes onto be brilliant. As I said I just have a feeling about him.... we'll call it my version of Stutts gut test
To be fair, it was his club kept him back from the u21 camp, and he did score against Manchester United after the Premier league restarted.
Sean Maguire, who wasn't in the initial squad, also scored once, against Bristol City, and didn't make the matchday squad against Finland.
I don't see why Obafemi was overlooked
He did have a bigger squad. Dara O'Shea was added to the initial squad without replacing anyone
Watching Coventry V QPR to see if Shipley is any good. To sum up he's big and powerful but has the acceleration and turning arc of a Nimitz class carrier. I was very impressed by Coventry's young forward Calum O'Hare who bagged a goal and was by far the best player on the pitch. According to this he qualifies for us:

Anyone know anything about him?
You can never have too many attacking players called Callum.
He's young enough for our under 21s as well. Has played underage for England but it was before he turned 21 so as of today that's not a barrier to him playing for us. Would seem nuts not to at least have him in the Under 21 squad if he's eligible and interested.
how does this change in our favor?
how many could declare?
Redmond, ohare, crowley, johansson, johnston, paddy bamford
