Did Callum Wilson outright turn down an offerfor playing for us? Was he approached (assuming he qualifies that is)
I would say if asked now he would jump at it, MON might be waiting for him to make the next move which is fair enough too

Very small reminder in an article on James Maddison in the Guardian- his mothers name is Una. What could have been.

Years ago when he was at Coventry. He rebuffed us then, by all accounts, and stated he was only interested in England. His stock has risen considerably since and was apparently due to train with England in the summer but for injury. He has stated how proud he is at getting his England under 21 call-ups and his dreams of getting the senior cap.
This ship has well and truly sailed. I’d say there’s a better chance of me getting capped by Ireland.
We aren’t Wales we are capable of getting players like him to
Declare for us.
Robin Walsh took up the offer of a scholarship in the US with the University of Chowan over the summer: https://www.instagram.com/p/Bl55m8ag5c_/
Never heard of the place, but it turns out I drove quite close to it a few years ago on a roadtrip: https://www.chowan.edu/It's with pleasure that I announce you that I signed in America at the University of CHOWAN after having received an academic and sports scholarship.
In order to continue my education and to come out with a good diploma as well as a very high level training from a sporting point of view.
I would like to thank , my family , friends and anderlecht for the past 8 years.
Nice list here:

The pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist thinks it will change; the realist adjusts the sails.
That's a terrible list.
Callum Robinson has already been called up, so not a new face
Callum Wilson and Bamford have shown little or no interest in declaring for us
I think Duffy would need to change his allegiance, which does take a few months
Nolan hasn't played a minute of senior competitive football yet
Ditto Johansson, and he's supposed to go into the Under 18s
Cullen is the U21 captain, and will play against Kosovo and Germany
Of the remainder, Branden Hines-Ike at least has his passport, whether or not he's interested is another case. One of Kelleher and Bazunu could be called up alright. No way he's taking two rookie keepers to a competitive international
Very true - if MON was going to spring one of these shocks on us, it would have been in the Celtic game, but with MON being the unimaginative hack he is, he focused on blooding in players who were likely to be playing Championship football, at least, this season, during those summer games - what a waste of time.
Seriously, he's talking about bringing in a bunch of underage players and players who have not actively shown an interest in even playing for us when the following players have single-digit cap numbers: Long, Cunningham, Rice, Doherty, Egan, Lenihan, Stevens, O'Kane, Judge, Horgan, Browne, Williams, Hourihane, Burke, Maguire, McGoldrick and Hogan. The Nations League is still a competitive tournament with the prize of a back-door place in the Euros in 2020 up for grabs, which will determine seedings for the qualifying tournament proper. If there's "experimentation" to be done, that should mean allowing some of these players the opportunity to get more international experience in advance of the Spring qualifiers
Sean Raggett got the winner for Rotherham v Milwall, on loan there from Norwich who Rotherham are now two points better off than.
Says he's eligible in this.
