The Pundit Arena piece states the following in relation to Browning:

Having played at International level with both Sweden and Ireland (he was capped in 2015 in the under 17 Euro championships) he finally declared for Sweden in 2016.He currently trains with the Swedish u18 International group and aims to be part of the u 19 Squad in 2018
Wee turncoat
Browning has represented Ireland competitively at under-17 level, so I wonder did he request a formal switch before later playing for Sweden... If he did and his appearances for Sweden at under-age level have also been competitive, that means he is now tied to Sweden for good. Do we know if this is the case? Perhaps it's not the case as he has only since played for Sweden at under-18 level, as far as I know, and FIFA do not presenty host competitive fixtures in this age category.

A random enough query but I just started a new game of FM2017 with the newest update and in the first Ireland squad of the season Sean Morrison gets a call up, is he actually even eligible?!
You show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser - Vince Lombardi
Watch this space - Michael Johnston from Celtic, 18yrs old & made his 1st team debut @ the weekend and already been scouted by Chelsea. Being described as the new Aidan McGeady for more multiple reasons!

Born in Glasgow. How do we know he's eligible? Irish parentage or grandparentage somewhere, I'm guessing?
Here's his Twitter feed, for anyone interested: https://twitter.com/mikeyjohnston10
Johnston played (and scored, and got sent off) for Scotland U19s in the UEFA U19 Elite Round Qualifiers in March: http://www.uefa.com/under19/season=2...ups/index.html
Might Wangball have seen the tricolour in his twitter account and made an incorrect connection with Ireland? Hopefully though he has inside info like Ole mentioned.

DID YOU NOTICE A SIGN OUTSIDE MY HOUSE...?
A guy called Maurice Malone playing against our U-17's for Germany as we speak. German/American though according to this...

I see the poster who started the YBIG thread on Johnston claims the player was "snubbed by the SFA" and has "links to Gweedore". He also says that the FAI are "supposedly" on the case. No evidence is provided for any of his assertions, although, as you say, he does claim journalist Phil Mac Giolla Bháin tweeted this information. I'm gonna have a look myself.

I feel dirty after clicking into those links.
I can'y find this supposed tweet by Mac Giolla Bháin either. I've had a look for recent mentions of Gweedore on Twitter too, but nothing of relevance in sight.
