I have heard from a reliable source that Cork City are DEFINETLY trying to sign Kevin Hunt from Bohemians.Its a case of an offer being made but it is up to the player now.Obviously Bohs dont want him to leave but who knows?.City have shown lots of ambition over the last couple of years bringing Pat Dolan to City and the more recently the signing of Neale Fenn.Also holding on to players like Flynny and Georgie will tell us our club means business.Lets hope Kevin Hunt decides his future is with the biggest club in the country,Cork City FC.

Counting Crow started the thread, and there has been quite a negative, indeed mocking, reaction from Bohs fans. After the Dolan signing, Lennox is capable of anything, but can't see it happening to be honest.

Much as I'd love it, I can't see it happening. there was a quote in the Sun yesterday from Steven Kenny denying that he was on his way to us, maybe thats where it started. Makes ya wonder though- where did the story come from that he felt he had to deny it?

This rumour should not be dimissed so quickly. I'm reliably informed that the club are actively trying to secure the services of Kevin Hunt. It will be difficult to get him to leave Bohs or Bohs to part with him but who knows what will be the out come.
Remember, ye all scoffed this time last year when ye were told that the club was trying to land Pat Dolan!
If we could get Hunt the "three year plan" would surely be down to a "two year plan". ie. win the league this season.
All I'll say is that Kevin Hunt would be a fantasitic signing if we get him.
Winning the league would then be a very realistic possibility.
