Great stuff, thanks Sam.
Talking to one of our lads putting the side together here the rules and regulations were making it very very difficult for them.
With one set of players (schools maybe? not sure which) it will be the very end of June before the club will be allowed to start talking to them about coming along to try out, and then the first match was supposed to be the 4th/5th of July! Good that they've another two weeks of space now.

Is Kilkenny City still Jim Rhatigan?
Ha, yeah, hopefully won't be a repeat of the epic series of postponements of last year.
We're planning on being in the RSC for all five games as far as I know, unless some kind of clash crops up that might mean one being moved.

Haha that didn't last long!!
Now looks like the first game might be switched to Ferycarrig on Saturday 18th.
We've Ipswich on the Friday, Monaghan away on the Sunday, and apparently the RSC is booked all day Saturday.
So it's either that or midweek! Will find out shortly I believe.
Anyway, there's a bit about our squad gone up on the club site there now.

Limerick have a very good under 20s team this year and i think they do well and might win there league.
Just heard there now.
The match is on at the RSC this Saturday (18th) alright, 2pm kick-off.
There was a pre-booking there from what I can gather, but whatever it was is off/postponed now, so we're free to use it.

Waterford 2 - 4 Wexford Youths Lee Aust, Graham Healy, Michael (Muzzy) Mullen and Jimmy Keohane with the goals for Wexford
Wexford went 2-0 up made 3 positional changes and it was 2-2 @ half time. The two goals Waterford got from a Wexford point of view where poor to conede bad marking Robert Vickers let player get in aroudn him and a soft pen. Wexford first goal came a lovely cross field pass from Warren Boarders to Lee Aust who finished well. The second the Waterford num 5 missed judge flight of ball and Graham Healy kept going and kept his cool.
Second half was close enough Waterford did apply more pressure with Wexford main chances coming on the break and set pieces. Waterford goal keeper was very impressive making at least 3 excellent saves but Wexford got there 3rd goal. Muzzy Mullen should have made it three with a one on one with the keeper but shoot went just wide before he did score. The goal Muzzy did score came after the keeper blocked down a shoot from Gaerth Wallace. Wexford 4th goal came in just about the last minute of the game. Martin Kehoe crossed the ball Lee Aust mis head the ball and it fell to Jimmy and he got it in.

And Miles To Go Before We Sleep
Match report on our website earlier this evening. Might be slightly Blues-biased though.
Great game I thought, one of the best I've seen in a long time.
Your first two goals were sloppy from our point of view too, our defence looked like they'd never played together before, which they hadn't, in fairness. They got caught rotten twice. Two great finishes though, specially the second one (I thought that it was Marty Kehoe btw?).
Could have went the other way maybe when Andrew Power hit the underside of the crossbar at 2-2.
Then a massive bit of bad luck when Josh Byrne made a good save but pushed it right into Mullan's path.
I think you're a bit harsh on Aust for the 4th too, looked to me like a pretty decent header back!

Maybe Aust did mean it I will have to find out. Yeah that was a great shot that hit the crossbar. The second one was def Graham Helay number 10 Marty was num 11.
The Waterford team was impressive for a team that have probably never played together and when get better as then play more. Where as most of the team Wexford had out played at under18 together and won two all ireland Not all mind you some still under 18 and some in senior team Friday night.
And Miles To Go Before We Sleep
Sorry to go on about this Y4E, that's the worst of not knowing opposing players, but were some shirt numbers wrong then?
Healy was listed as 11, Kehoe as 10, and we're pretty sure it was 10 scored the 2nd goal alright. Were they the wrong way round?
Also, talking with a lad in the press box, while it was definitely number 7 who scored your first one, according to the list that was Robert Vickers (Lee Aust was listed as #8). It was the same fella that knocked that header back down for the 4th goal. Definitely Aust, yeah? Was Vickers 8 then?
I know there was at least one mix up with the numbers as Shane Dempsey was listed as 15, but had 17 on his back when he came on.
Haha I love U20 games!
