    Derry on Friday

So we had two good results and then one bad one , I think if we can get anything out of this game we'd be doing well , Keane and O'Grady are out suspended to go along with Mauro , Parkhouse and Doherty injured and Boco international duty.

With Keane & O'Grady out, does that leave us with nobody on the bench and with Ciaran Kelly playing right-back???????

    Thumbs down

Mauro is simply taking money from the club and giving nothing in return. He needs to cop on because from what i hear he's just plain lazy. And what I've seen from him on the pitch it looks that way as well.

Won't be able to make this one now because of what that muppet down in Louth did yesterday!

redtilldead has this on Forza boards(i dont know how to link the post), probably the best team available:

    Brush
    Ventre Peers Feeney Keohane
    Cash Ryan Torpey Holmes
    Cretaro Morrison

Leaves Kelly and whoever else can be arsed turning up on the bench..

Not a great starting line up. We really are threadbare now. I don't think it's a good enough team to get a win. Draw may be possible if everything goes our way. We could do with a game or two where we get no cards. Peers got one the last night. We would be absolutely f*****d without him, especially as long as "Sick Note" sits it out.

Derry are 11/10 with Boyle and Ladbrokes. Get on. And spare me the usual

Have faith , most of them have been missing all season so no great loss , torphey is a class act and a straight swap for O'grady expect Keohane/Noctor to cover the full backs and Morrsion will be up for this one he had a good game in the brandywell , will offer Derry @12/10 to any unfaithful Rovers fans.

Clean him out, lads. Although a note of caution - I don't think he's quoted on the Stock Exchange so probably 1.20 to a yoyo would be plenty.

i think this will be a tough game and depends on which derry turn up because they have been hit and miss at times this season. they will also be looking for revenge. we are generally better at home so hpefully the home advantage will help us. i fear we are not strong enough and will depend a lot on how confident the players are going into the game. i would love to see nothing more than a win to get us back on track but from what i have seen this season i dont have much confidence. a lot will depend on young thorpey in midfield because richie does not do enough grafting and he lacks pace. we were overran in midfield against bray and whoever wins the midfield battle here will get the 3 points. hopefully almeida will be back because he installs confidence in the back four but it looks doubtful. in that case ventre needs to be calmer, he is far too rash making midfielder style tackles in and around the box. i really hope cookie gets to bring in a few new faces in july to give the squad a kick up the ass that it needs. we as the crowd need to get behind the rovers and give them the 12th man spirit. i feel our best form of defence on fri nite will be attack. we need to get more support up to raf and let him work his magic, he truly is a matchwinner if he gets help. all in all like every game we go int i belive we can win but i have come away from far to many matches this season deflated to realise this will be a very tough game. but in syaing that i though we would get hammered in the brandywell and look how wrong i was there. COME ON THE BIT O RED

Would it be better than Illichivets Mariupol ?

I still think we have the spine of a good team available for Friday might be a good chance to see what the youngsters are made of.
