Some skill on the aul fella at the end. Claps his scarf and catches his hat on the follow through. Great tenacity by Scannell. Schmeichal is garbage.

Scannell's goal is on 1:35.

Here they come! It’s the charge of the “Thanks” Brigade!
Scored another absolute cracker yesterday before setting up Huddersfield's 3rd.
Some fan reaction:
Read more: http://downatthemac.proboards.com/th...#ixzz2QQZ7KiqDThing is though, as much as his contribution this season hasn't been enough, you can see blatant talent in there. Very rarely do you get players at this level with strength, good control and decent acceleration. If he had the fitness and the vision to go with it, he would be that £5m player Grayson described. That's a big 'if' though, but hopefully the through ball was a sign he does have other facets to his game.
Super goal alright.
Has he not signed up in full for the North?
Good luck to him regardless, Palace mates said he was a decent lad.
Came off the bench to score Huddersfields fifth goal. Still only 23.
Huddersfield rounded off an emphatic win with a fifth late on as substitute Scannell smashed an unstoppable drive into the bottom corner.
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.
Scannell could be on his way to Millwall to join the Irish contingent there.
He was absolutely superb last week for Town last week and started again today.

Chris Powell wants to keep Scannell at Huddersfield and he is in his plans for the season. Hopefully, he can kick on from here and play consistent football this season.

Scored the second tonight in a 3-1 away win over high-flying Wolves.
Player of the Month for October at Huddersfield: http://www.htafc.com/news/article/ou...h-2048350.aspx
He's playing really well. Wonder if he might come back into consideration for a belated debut against the US? I doubt it but he seems to be doing more than Pilkington at the moment.
Ou-est le Centre George Pompidou?
I doubt it, but we'll find out in about 35 minutes.
Scannell has cemented his pace in the team which is fantastic considering it seemed he was leaving until Chris Powell said no. It seems his confidence is high and he was influential in this game against Forest.

Good news for Northern Ireland!

Very complimentary article about Scannell.
Good article - if he keeps up this form for the season, and as an established (but still young) pro delivering on the bags of potential he showed at the start of his career, surely he would be a priority to bring into the fold for any summer friendlies organised for next year.
