Lads sorry on havin to butt in here but in fairness trueview what you are saying is a bit harsh... I know mark personally and yes maybe his season didnt exactly go to plan last year but he scored some very important goals for carew last season ...... Yes hes young and a little inexperienced and at times a little hot headed but you tell me how many 19 year olds you know that arent....i wish him all the best with his season with balla at the end of the day its an amateur sport and hes entitled to sign for who he wants....
Crazyhorse he had a poor year with carew i dont think he will be as good as albert,albert was a very good footballer i think mark has alot to do to make the balla side thats all, i hope he proves me wrong its my opinion its not personal we have young players with us aswell
drop it there are much bigger and better things that could be discussed and again i ask can anyone post there new signings from there respective clubs
Don't think a lot of clubs want to post their signings real deal. And there probably better off. Few teams will be taken a bit for granted at the start of the season I reckon.
Some good good signings there.If boro can start like they finished,they could do well.getting shane clarke back is very good and pa barry and david owens both good players.
how can you compare them when one is a centre midfielder and the other is a full back?
im not talking about positions albert is a better all round footballer,albert played with the oscar trainer side and in hes younger days turned down a chance to play league of ireland,i know dermot wanted to sign him more than once.

With all due respect trueview if you know mark sla as well as you say you do then you'll know that he isnt a central midfield player so theres no point in comparing him to albert ......when have you ever seen akbert play as a winger or a rightfull and trust me iv played with him for long enough...albert can only play in one position and thats centre midfield.....he barely has the legs for that so you definately cant tag him as a winger and he isnt a cousin to a defender.....So dont compare a young lad plying his trade to a player that is near the end of his in a completely different position.

what are you on about trueview..mark has scored at least 9 goals from right full how many did yer right full score or in fact any right full in town score last year ..he also scored the goal against us to keep carew up last year..fare play to him trying to better himself..who are you to judge anyone

yes he,s a decent player and while i admit most of what trueview says is tripe i have to say mark would not make any of the top teams,but i wish him well trying to better himself and having the guts to go for it
Im giving my opinion you have an opinion that your not afraid to express i have mine he wouldnt get on boro,pike,us and time will tell if he gets on the balla side when you say about better himself i think that is dis respectful to carew who have a great club house,new pitch, starting an astro,new young side with new management.

Not lookin too bad white line.... If im honest the average age of the team has come way down to around the 20ish mark....they wont be challenging for honours for the next 3 or 4 seasons but i do think there strong enough this year to hold there own better than they have been doing the previous years....... every club trying to rebuild has to start somewhere and the main thing is were trying to go forward and not backward and if it means #'@ssing off a few people on the way then it has to be done.. the young players that have signed are a bit green but experience has to start somewhere too.... i reckon mid table will be a good measure for them by seasons end... we've signed 2 centre halfs 2 right fulls 3 midfield players 2 wingers and at the moment a pair of strikers.... we could do with one or 2 more including a keeper but as everyone knows good players are like hens teeth....... there attitude in training for me has been exceptional and ill definately have them fit this season as i cant play myself iv opted to train them....
