The Fuze is the only band I can think of back then...don't think they had an album but cant remember the name of their single.....

    Cigar for that man!

    The Fuze it is.
They had three singles apparently, though I only remember two of them. They finally got around to releasing their debut album in 2007! That's the one I just got.
"Stoneage Man" was the other single I can remember being out, and the lyrics are from the inestimably brilliant "It's A Sunday Morning".

    A classic.

From somewhere I can't remember to Nova Scotia.
    And you forgot the Diddly-Hups!
Letter From America by the Proclaimers. Great song!

Not very google-proof this, but it is obscure.
Listening to little else at the moment...

Correct, and I think it's "from Wester Ross to Nova Scotia"... If anyone in London is interested they are playing a free gig in Croydon on the 1st August...

Haven't a clue about the avatar one...
