Can anybody explain what is meant by Category A, B etc and how Dundalk decide which clubs belong in which category?
Seems a valid thing for English premiier league games, but a tad ridiculous for LoI games IMO.

In fairness, if Bohs do it, it must be the way forward, they have no financial issues.

    We charge €15 Adults €10 students OAPS €5 Under 16 €30 for Family 2 adults & 2 U16's .

The only categorising of Matches is the security Level by the FAI Ive heard of no other Club ramping up prices for well supported Teams. Bohs a s far as I know charge €20 for the Jodi but we havent been there yet this season.

GUFCT - if you read the posts above you will learn that Bohemians have 2 categories of matches with varying pricing.
    http://www.bohemians.ie/stadium/admi...-policies.html
The fact that Bohs have this policy might in itself be a valid reason to question the finanical rectitude involved.

Ramping prices up for well supported teams, or keeping prices down for the less interesting ones?

I imagine that this topic is only of acedemic interest to Galway fans anyway, except for the ten or so that were in attendance to support the Tribesmen in Oriel Park last week!

Where is your source for this?

Comments like it "could be a long season ahead" show you obviously don't know what you are talking about..
There is still 24 games left! Long enough, no?

As regards to George, he went to Greece last week and he is only on a contract with us til July so yeah he can go if he wants but there is no official confirmation so until then...
If ye bothered to read what I say ye will see that I said rumour, which means its not a fact. I never said it was fact

If so I accept that, I was told of this, so I said I'd post here and see how true it was, and I now realise its obviously not true

It is for category A matches though, which is what the prices are for.

Theres a rumour and then theres a rumour! Where the hell did you get the 30% pay cut...can you tell me that. There has been no mention by any dundalk fan anywhere on the net of 30% pay cuts so obviously you added to your rumour therefore stirring, unless you have a job at Oriel and know something that is being kept from all us fans and the Dundalk fans who work at Oriel and are registered on this!

If you read one of my previous posts it was posted elsewhere. I said rumour cos I knew I was open to correction. I would have said fact if it was true

I have re-read you posts and it is still clear as day to me that. irrespective of the origin of your "rumour" you speculated that the club must be in trouble! I simpky don't accept that the 30% pay cut came from anywhere other then inside your head!

It doesn't follow that the more you speak the greater the chance that you will make any sense.

Not bitter at all..we have the best manager in the league now imo...feel sorry for Dundalks fans as i like the club in general but they were foolish appointing him and treating John Gill so poorly...wonder do some of the Oriel park fans wish he was still there now?....Connor is a SPOOFER and keeps proving it week after week but im sure it wasnt HIS fault..prob the ref, assistant ref,4th official, bosco,Bertie etc etc etc...
