Dundalk complete Vaughan swoop

The hectic start to the New Year continued for First Division side Dundalk on Friday with the announcement that they have signed prolific striker Trevor Vaughan from Monaghan United.

Vaughan, formerly of Shelbourne, Home Farm and Kilkenny City, has spent three seasons at Century Homes Park – and has been the Mons’ top scorer on each occasion.

His deadeye ability from the penalty spot is undoubtedly one of his key strengths, but he is a quality operator from open play as well.
