I think we will get something out of this. Could snatch a win but a draw is more likely. Not sure which to go for 0-0 or 1-1. Would be Limericks 4th draw at home this season. Poor form really.

Poor form indeed, but another draw wouldnt be a bad result v UCD.
I'd say we'll get something out if this one too.

Easily take a draw this time round though. This lot beat Galway 2-0 in Terryland last night (monday)
Despite the iffy home performances we've only lost one in our last seven games, promotion form that!

I felt quitely confident about this before i spoke out here. Now i feel lodly confident Seriously though, we've a good record against the "bigger" teams at home. Ya we lost to Waterford but last season (ya alot has changed) we got a few good results against the so called bigger teams. As Jackman is litterally unplayable on the surface, and with recent rain it looks as though it'll be another Jack Charlton style match with the long balls. On that surface anything is possible. 2-1 Limerick. Cummins and Tierney on the scoresheet

Why? not like you have to sit down and if an old woman turns up at a Limerick game for the first time ever she'll hardly go near the drunken hoodies.

My missus is having her hen party Friday night - so I'll be sitting on the new love seats all on my own...her lack of dedication to the Limerick team in choosing a party over supporting them is shocking

Did Pat Scully get a touchline ban for his antics against Finn Harps?

Im going for a score draw. 1-1. There has been something like 10 matches on Jackman Park since the Finn Harps game so it will be an awful state.

i think Limerick could definitely get a result here.
The only thing UCD really had on them on the opening game of the season was fitness.
On the other hand, UCD have shown tremendous form since though.

Just back from match and I not happy. I dont like commenting on negatives but this was a disgrace.

Firstly, the positives. Limerick were brilliant tonight. Made UCD (Top of the league) look very ordinary. We played some good stuff but never made great goalscoring opportunities. Cummins had a great chance to win it but missed it. Purcell and Tierney went off injured and to lose two big players and put in a great performance was great to see. Hughes was outstanding. The seats were a great addition too, although i thought took from the atmosphere and enjoyment i used to get standing in the shed but still was a welcome change.

Now, the negatives. Tonight was an absolute disgrace off the pitch. About twenty scumbags got in over the station wall. Firstly, they were throwin objects in the shed at families who just wanted to watch the match. At one point, a full coke bottle was thrown down.

Then something happened the lad with the glasses and ponytail (Sound bloke who attends all the matches). One of the thugs obviously done something to him cos he chased one of them. If he did the rest of the muppets went after him.

Then the final straw, a young fella was punched in the face and hit with a stick.

The point only a few stewards there who were powerless and to be honest if i was them i would not have got involved either. Two guards were there, done nothin but watched the match. In fact Leo the Lion and the do Ron Ron Ron were the only people who made an effort, no lie.

The fact that everyone wanted to watch the match bar these 20 thugs who just wanted to cause trouble ****es me off. Something has to be done about people climbing over the wall. A fence, shrapnel or somet to deter them.

But away from that, Limerick can be proud of there performance. Well done Scully and the lads!

Couldn't be there tonight but it seems like a credible result. Time to start turning these draws into wins at home though.
