I'd say there's a 0% chance of that. Del Piero had a charity game in Turin a couple of days ago that Canna player in and he got booed and jeered in that. During a recent board meeting there were fans protesting against the board, Cannavaro and Ranieri outside.

Cannavaro was just a blow-in anyway. It wasn't like Del Piero or even Buffon to a lesser extent who owed most of their careers to Juve. He probably felt he had only a year or two left and didn't want to spend it in Serie B.

Hmmm well I must admit I was not aware of how bad things were between the Juve fans and Fabio, excuse my ignorance on that front, but I still think they are going a bit over the top. Calciopoli was not his fault after all. And as DeLorean says, it's not like he owed his career to them. But he did give 100% all the time he was there. Fans must respect that. They must be realistic. We're talking about one of the greatest defenders of all time here. I wonder would they still be complaining if they were to win Serie A next season with him at the back..................

The root of the problem between the fans and him is not the fact that he left in 2006 but the manner in which he left.
He came out without statements like "Juve even in Serie C" and "this is my club, I'll stay through anything" (paraphrasing obviously) but then he ****es off to Spain to, in his words, "win the Champions League". That worked well for him by the way .

Yeah, he's held in similar regard to Thuram and Zambrotta, while the big names who stayed willingly - Del Piero and Nedved in particular - are adored. Whether he'll be forgiven in time or not is another matter.

Interesting to see how that Cannavaro-Chiellini partnership we saw in Bari works out on a week to week basis.

Interesting. But I wonder can Juve knock Inter off their perch next season. Definitely possible depending on who the gaffer will be obviously. But what I really want to see is Italian clubs doing better in Europe. They seem to be lacking a bit of confidence and belief in the latter stages of the CL these days. I don't think they are TOO far behind??

It infuriates me when pundits go on about Serie A being a rubbish league. I suspect those same pundits never actually watch any Serie A games! And you cannot judge the quality of a league by how well its teams do in a knockout european competition. I wonder if the bottom 4 in Serie A played the bottom 4 in the premiership what would happen............
