Got this in todays Mirror:
'Roddy Collins may have expressed interest in the Athlone vacancy-but Harry MCCue and Stephen Kelly are the front runners for the job.
Collins, the double winning manager with Bohs, is keen to get back into management and says he sees enormous potential in Athlone.
However McCue, sacked by Drogheda last season last season stands a good chance of getting the post- even though Athlone have also spoken to Kelly about becoming player manager.
The first Division side are also keen to snap up Tom Silke from Longfrod although they face cpmpetition from Sligo and Glenavon.
Sligo are also keen to take Paddy Mulvihill on loan from Longford for all of next season.'
Hope Kellier gets it as he is a gentlemen and he is highly regarded in the game and especially with all at Longford. I wish him success if he gets it.
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
Roddy was interviewed on tv3 last week and he said he'l only take a job in england.
Love to see sephen get it.Still living in kenagh.A sounder fella ya cudn't meet
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.
