    Alan King

County have added another former Monaghan United player to their panel for the 2004 season. Manager Eric Hannigan has swooped for twenty-one year old Alan King. King, a utility player who is equally comfortable in midfield or up-front, signed up last night and is due to make an appearance along with Byrne in the game in aid of the Mick Wright Leukaemia Foundation at Station Road .

King will be an able replacement for Ray Scully, who has departed County to join the Vikings.

    More signings excellent

The bigger the squad the better, we need to strenghten our u-21's as well. I'm sure Eirc and John have learned alot from last season.

Anyone got more information on this lad?

Kinger was with Bray a few seasons back. He was absolutey class for our U21 team and looked like he would make the step up to the 1st's but for some reason was let go ! never heard of him playing up front ! but is a good defender / midfielder. A good signing there lads.

Thanks Roo69, good to hear. I'd say John Ryan had alot to do with the signing.
