Season Tickets are going to be available according to JP this season. It is a very useful way of getting money upfront and it could possibly be tied in with a direct debit scheme from what i can gather.
I was corresponding with Deise and was suggesting a season ticket for Limerick FC. Thought I'd put it out for comments on whether it is a good idea or not.
I think the club really should launch a season ticket. I think there would be a market for it - and a lot of people who can't get to every home match would definitely buy one. I am a perfect example. The likes of Lims Fan and JoeSoap too. It could also mean money up front instead of hoping the team perform and crowds come along. I think a lot of people who want to support or help the club would just buy one too even if they are very casual match goers. And it wouldn't affect cup match revenue either because season tickets don't apply to those. Could also be a thing where only season ticket holders can apply for international matches - quite an attraction with the France game coming up.
Cork City charge €165 for adults, €90 OAP and €75 under 18s. They charge €10 into a game so Limerick could charge €120. If they sell 100 that's €12,000 up front at the start of the season.
Anyway, just an idea for discussion. What do others think. Is JP listening?

Quality idea. I'd buy two for the company up here. Can be written off against tax, so I suppose theres a whole lot more like me out there.
Great idea but you have to remember that there's very little facilities for fans at the Pike, ie. no stand and it's the first division.
The most people would pay is €100 i'd say, which is good considering. If the club lobbied businesses they'd sell way more than 100. You could package it as sponsorship and at the same time the businesses are getting something back - plus they can right them off against tax aswell.
