Our very popular Pub Penalty Competition continued at our last home game against Wexford Youths with The Hillgrove Hotel represented by Damien Clerkin , Seamus Mc.Kenna’s Dublin St. whose striker was Shane Mc. Donald, and winner on the night Terry’s Market St.whose sharp shooter on the night was Gerard Gilsenan, he goes on to join the only other qualifiers, Paul Mc. Ardle, of Mickey Micks, Dublin St. and Conor Galligan of the Cosy Bar Glaslough St. .

The competition is still open to all licensed premises throughout the county and the general catchments area of Monaghan United, there is still time to enter . It is a knock out competition with three teams competing during the half time interval; each pub
