    Associates of Cobh Ramblers F.C

i must say im not gonna name names here, but there are people that became associated with our club last year, that people still associate with our club, but no longer have interest in us, but yet are determined to stop people visiting our club, tellin people that events have been cancelled and games called off, i would please ask anyone that knows these people to tell there friends not to listen to them, and get there information off true ramsfans, we have to inform people that not everyone associated with our club has its best interests at heart,

I'd probably refer to it as being 'annoyed' at still seeing the club tick over and football being played on the park.

more than likely is, but them continuing being associated with the club is affecting us, people need to be infromed that they infact are not associates of the club,

Believe brothers and sisters Believe, keep it going. Stop looking to see if the so called friends are at the games, that only makes them more important than the real supporters who are attending the games.

The tide is turning brothers and sisters just continue what ye are doing and BELIEVE.

    sounds like a song,
    Just a small town club
    Livin' in a lonely town
    he took the midleton train
    Goin' nowhere
    Just a lonely chairman
Born and raised in top of the hill
    He took the midleton train
    Goin' nowhere

A loner in a sinking ship
A smell of beamish and toilet duck
For a while they can share the light
    before the esb goes

    creditors waiting
    Up and down the road
    Their shadows searching
    In the night
    builders,breweries, people
Livin' just to find there money
committee Hidin', somewhere in the night

Workin' hard to pay the bills
    Everybody wants his head
    Payin' money to dave hill
    Just one more week
    Some will win
    we will lose
Some were born to run the well
    Oh, the meeting never ends
It goes on and on and on and on

    Creditors waiting
    Up and down the hill
    Their shadows searching
    In the night
    builders,breweries people everywhere
Livin' just to find there money
    Hidin', somewhere in the night

    we've stopped believin' that
    john delaneys arriving this evening
    please stop deceiving
we love to see you leaving
    folding isnt winning

We have to understand that there is hatred twoards certain members of ramblers and not against the team or teams that play under ramblers, its a crying shame that this happens as only time will help change things and good things will come to those who wait.

The man said,"the best thing is not to hate anyone, only to love. Thats the only way out of it, As soon as you have forgiven those whom you hate, you have gotten rid of them. Then you have no reason to hate them; you just forget.

All i can say is yes there is hatred going on, but i only see this as childish behaviour. Its time to move on,so lets play SOCCER and dont feed into the bull s**t

The best thing to do is just ignore these people. The more people go on about them, the more important they will feel and think the club can't go on without them.
The real rams fans are the ones that are supporting the team and the club regardless of who is running the place.
So lets just forget about these so called associates of the club and get behind OUR TEAM and OUR CLUB.

i agree with the way you say it, but these people have already left and ive accepted that they no longer wish to associate themselfs with us,

but they are going out of there way to pull as many people along with them regardless if these people even know there being disassocaited with the club,

there simply believing that this person knows what he/she is on about, cause he associated with rams, so if he say theres no bingo on then there must be no bingo on, and if a game was cancelled than it must have been,

i would love to ignore it but it is affecting the club in a big way,

    Thumbs up

Well the solution to that is, we go out of our way to promote the club.
We tell people that there is a match on, that bingo is on etc.
The club is as low as it can go now and it is up to us supporters and members to do our bit to promote the club.
A few simple things like talking to our friends and tell them that the team is playing well and that with a bit more support from locals that things can get better.
Call to the club and get posters advertising games and put them up in the work place were people will see them.
If the word is out that there is a game on, people won't be long ignoring these associates and might start coming back to the games, so let us try and be more positive about things and these people won't be long getting bored and will either come back and start supporting the club or they will go on their merry.
So let us get off our h***s and get off the computers and tell people there are games on and do our bit for OUR CLUB, no matter how small.
    Every little helps.

Rise above it Brother Don. Rise above it. There is football this year and some don't like it because it's not what they expected. Others don't agree with the club paying the Manager. Fine. Let them. They've made their choice to stay away. It's them who are missing the football. I actually see people at the games that I certainly didn't expect to see at all this year.
