    UCD v Longford

Match preview online now. Longford have lost five on the trot (six if you include the League Cup), but have only lost to Fingal by more than one goal in the league.

Longford's second half performance was equivalent to UCD's first half performance against Mervue Utd last Friday. Longford hit the crossbar twice with two great free-kicks. They had a further chance when their forward slipped to defender on the turn but hit his shot straight at the 'keeper and the longford goal came from two shots immediately previously.

for the neutral if Longford bring their second-half performance and UCD bring their first-performance for the whole game it will be a great match for them, alternatively I would perfer if UCD brought three-quarters of their first-half performance and one-quarter of their second-half performance, while Longford brought seven-tenths of their second-half and the remainder from the first half.

From talking with some Longford fans I think they are hopuing for their second-half performance .....and Alan Gough to miss the bus. Although there was one telegraphed shot from Zayed and Hollywood save from Gough last wekend. ( two-fifths of the way into the second-half).
