FAI warning over stadium delay

The Irish Government were last night warned by the FAI that a decision has to be made on the new national stadium by the end of January or else there will be no alternative to playing our World Cup Qualifying game abroad.

With news of possible planning difficulties at a redeveloped Lansdowne Road coming to light, the FAI are seriously worried that they will not know if there will be a stadium available for the them to play their 2006 World Cup Qualifiers in.
