Midfield, Frank Lampard, Arshavan, Fabricas, and can't decide the other.

Mine was so similar to this I scrapped it. Only differences was Fabregas for Iniesta(very close), Bosingwa for Alves(haven't seen much of Alves) and Cole for Evra (close). Went with Carvalho as well but Ferdinand wouldn't have been second on my list.Originally Posted by shakermaker1982

Yeah I would have that with Carvalho as my centre back as he is just that bit more consistant than Ferdinand but its a tough choice as Ferdinand has lots of pace too and is pretty good with Vidic. I think its harsh on Gerrard this season to miss out so might put him there instead of Xavi or Iniesta although I know in reality he could not play that role. For such a great playe Gerrard is very hard to fit into any other formation other than 4 5 1.

A few of us just did a random email world XI thing in work today and mine was nearly spot on this. Just put Chivu in for Ferdinand as I love the guy. And Cole in for Evra.
Iniesta's a bloody genius. Amazing control of the ball.

One gamenot so much of a genius tonight against chelseaIniesta has been unreal this season,has been as good as messi in recent weeks imo. One of the best players in the world,underrated aswell. I'd have him ahead of fabregas/xavi/essien/gerrard et al.
