The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

on a slightly different note, I notice that the 18th Feb (Weds) has been set aside for an international friendly.

Suggest the FAI choose opponents that will attract supporters to Lansdowne Road. No shoddy 22,000 attendance this time.

I presume they're going to be the same weekends as usual - the weekend around the 1st September, 8th October, 15th November, etc. In that case, last season's Premiership fixtures will show you the dates by the off weeks.Originally posted by TommyT

Dates set aside for WC qualifiers are as follows
4 & 8 Sept 04
9 & 13 Oct 04
26 & 30 March 05
4 & 8 June 05
3 & 7 Sept 05
8 & 12 Oct 05
Note we have only 10 games but some groups will have 12 games per team.
