Yeah I read it like that too and I was careful in my post to say that this was not an absolute just how I have found it amongst the people that I go to games with or talk to.

benno said he also met fans on the other side.
There is no doubt, Drums has shot an ally in the back.
Geysir you missed the point there. Bennocelt said another myth gone there as if Drumcondar 69er had said there was not people on both sides. You are the one reading it wrong. At no point in time did Druncondra69er say that that all fans who go to games were anti Keane. Therefore he did ot create a myth for bennocelt to burst it.

I said he said she sells sea shells by the sea shore.
Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.
Maybe these guys can help.
Oh but Dromcondra I know an armchair fan who was against Keane-

He wont be a happy camper tonight, getting spanked 4-0 at home to Newcastle at the moment.
great to see chris houghton do so well!!
Has Keane got the same yes men that he had at Sunderland as his assistants. It was obvious that "Management Team Keane" was not working for at least the last 6 months (probably longer) at Sunderland.
If Keane cannot see that there is something wrong with his management team then he should step away from management very soon.

ROY'S CHALLENGE TO OWEN
Posted on: Tue 29 Sep 2009
Owen Garvan will be hoping to stake his claim for a return to the first-team when he plays for the reserves against Northampton on Wednesday.
The Republic of Ireland U21 international is set to line up against the Cobblers at Portman Road, with kick-off at 2pm.
"Owen has played the last few games for the reserves and he will have another run out on Wednesday," confirmed Town boss Roy Keane.
"He's not in my plans at the moment and had the chance to go out on loan last week, which I thought was a good option for him to go and get some games, but I have no problem with that.
"He's a talented boy and like every player at the Football Club, he will have a chance to impress me. His attitude has been fine, he has trained well and played for the reserves.
"He's doing okay and if he plays well on Wednesday, then he may have a chance for the weekend."
zombie/thread killer..
Threw away a 3-1 lead to draw 3-3 at Sheffield Utd tonight, but maybe it'll buy him some time?
They were down 1-0 at one point and I thought that was it for him. I thought the new team owner was a billionaire arms dealer? Surely he can cough up the cash for a marquee signing?
