Hey lads,
I know you got rid of the '37' bit of the name but are you now known as Limerick or Limerick FC or are both of those correct?!
I phoned the speaking clock to hear a voice speak, it said - "At the tone you will be very much alone"
Limerick FC.

I've also wondered why one and all refer to us as Limerick FC and not just Limerick. It's quite unusual. Nobody talks about Shelbourne FC or Dundalk FC after all.![]()
The ball is round and has many surprises.
i suppose its to do with the amount of re-incarnations we've had.Never quite sure which time-zone we're in so its easier to refer to the FC/37/United to know which era we're refering to.

Wasn't there one season when our official name was "Limerick FC Football Club"?
Yeah, I think I still have the scarf. "Football Club" was on the crest where "Commitment to Excellence" is now, as I recall. 2004, it would have been.
I think so. Remember having a laugh with some of the Limerick lads about it at the time.
