They're going to seriously struggle getting the license with the cheques bouncing. There's no point in the ground being developed if their house isnt in order.
For me its a no
Lads, a fairly heated debate is taking place on other boards about the money going to Shels, to do up Tolka for their European games next season.
People are saying it is a waste of money as Shels will be leaving Tolka for another ground soon, so the money would not be well spent.
What are your thoughts on this ?
*And no cráp lads, serious debate
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

CITY TILL I DIE
It’s a waste of money if they are moving to Tallaght with Shams. The money will probably be spent on player’s wages instead of ground development
There's no gaurentee there will be a move for a start. Secondly, The money is being given so that the clubs can bring their stadiums upto European competition regulation standard, it can be little things like toilets and stuff like that that needs upgrading and these all add up. It's not like they'll use the money to build a new stand.
But you need your UEFA license to play in europe and you cant get your UEFA license if cheques are being bounced. You need to have your house in order before sorting out the stadium.
CITY TILL I DIE
The cheques bouncing thing was a post on a messageboard, it can hardly be taken as fact at this stage.
But if this did happen then surely Shels have a poor chance of attaining the license. Don't you think??
CITY TILL I DIE
Probably, but since there's nothing to indicate it did happen (Aside from one post on a messageboard), then it's just speculation.
