Buying a laptop

Hey guys,
Looking for a bit of help - I'm planning on buying a laptop and was wondering what anyone would advise?

I don't need anything top of the range but would obviously like one that won't break!

I wouldn't be using it for anything specific - mainly webbrowsing etc.

I don't know what's known as reliable these days, but if you're just going to be web browsing and such, anything on the market will do. Get something portable (weight and dimensions) if you'll carry it around a lot, or go for a big screen if it'll mainly sit in one place and you'll be watching a lot of DVDs and the like on it.

I have a HP Pavilion dv2500 Notebook, 2.00 GB Hard Drive - does the job for me, havent had any problems with it, had it about 18 months so might be time for an upgrade actually!
