    Could someone recommend some hotels near Vicar Street ?

    you should really be posting all these type threads (e.g. this one and the model shops in sligo one ) in the travel thread, if at all I2MJ. Its nothing a good googling wont answer.
    I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.

    But where's the sense of camaraderie, the personal recommendations, the sense of local knowledge and getting one up on the system by finding out about the cheap but thoroughly decent place that hasn't entered the 21st century & no one really knows about?

    It's easy to find buildings with beds, it's not as easy to find somewhere special to call home for a night....

    I suppose the problem is that not many people on foot.ie who live in Dublin may have used the Dublin hotels.

    Have you got a budget?

    Vicar Street is so close to the city centre that lots of hotels will be close. Smithfield (couple of options) is 5 minutes away. Temple Bar (lots of options) 10 minutes. Grafton St area 10 minutes.

    i got a great deal for two nites in the morrison and was best hotel i was ever in ever..ever...no need to stay up near vicar st..area is a complete hole and in walking distance from city centre anyways
