I doubt he could pass it onto McClean, as somehow tens of thousands get crushed in the stampede in the effort to get offended by a McClean intervention on Twitter.
But as Shane tweets, this is a restricted offended scenario.

It has to be said Footballers and Social media are not a good mix come to think of it I have seen some amount of sectarian/offensive crap posted on there by people I used to work with so its just not a good mix all round! Even before McClean had his Poppy incident there was some amount of abuse and even threats being posted by these boys and ironically they are probably outraged by McClean's later twitter posts and now Duffy.

I am mortified by the tweet and apologise for any upset caused. The tweet was sent by a third party after my phone was taken......

shane was out for paddys nite last night ...a song came on in the nite club and he went out to dance with his beautiful girlfriend,left his phone on the table and some d**khead wrote up the ra on his twitter acount...now what will happen is the fa with fine him our everton will fine him...he has apoligised so many times on twitter but the norn iron fans have taken it on board and are out raged...i dont blame them to be honest shane would never say any thing like that its not the way we brough him up....he has said sorry for leaving his phone down but and the end of the day it will be a lesson learned....gutted some pr!ck could think that was funny when shane has almost 50,000 people following him...he is big enough to get over things like this and we will move on...

About the same value as your own, G. And no less sensible. Remember this is a public discussion board, not restricted to your pretensions. For the little that it's worth, a couple of Everton supporters I spoke to (one from a village outside Warrington) think that he's immature and dishonest and would be best served by apologising unreservedly.
