He didn't feature in the last friendly, probably be better off going on loan for a season. Has been in the reserves far too long for his own good.
Always look on the bright side of life
Looks that way all right, with the likes of Jagielka, Distin, Heitinga and Alcaraz (and this young English buck Stones) all fighting for the centre back spot.
He's been included in their panel for their trip to the US so he's obviously in Martinez's thinking. How he performs there will probably dictate where he spends the first half of the season.

Not even in the squad for today's League Cup match with mighty Stevenage. Looks like he'll spend the season out on loan:

Just go ahead
Any news on Shane?
Straight into the starting XI away to Bolton today
Came within a whisker of keeping a clean sheet with Mills scoring a last-minute equaliser. Paddy Madden also made his first appearance since getting injured before the international break.
Set up Yeovil's goal at Middlesbrough but they conceded a few minutes later.

Assisted Yeovil's goal against Doncaster last night with a header. Yeovil lost the game 2-1, however.

Set to stay at Yeovil for the remainder of the season.
He really dropped his team in it today with a ridiculous handball from a corner that put them 1-0 down when they were certainly in the game.
He didn't handle the ball.
It was McAllister: https://scontent-a-fra.xx.fbcdn.net/...16974318_n.jpg
