    v Bohs

Should be a good crowd for this, hopefully some good football and our lads to get right into them. Both games last year against them were very good and we should have got something both times. Looking forward to another good one this time around. They're a good side but would not fear anybody in the Showgrounds when we are playing like we have done in the last couple of games.

Massive game , need the 3 points badly to narrow the gap at the top and get the title challenge back on track.

Huge game. Going in to this one a lot more optimistic than I did going to Derry. A draw would be a huge result never mind a win. But i just cant see us beating them. I hope to god im proved wrong

You serious? There won't be a title challenge,we have to be realistic here. Two good wins in the last two games but we can't be getting carried away with ourselves. Would be hoping for a draw against a side who are much superior to any side in the league, we might nick a win,who knows. Just look at their bench the last day against pats - Gregg,Brennan,Oman, powell, anto murphy. Also out injured were neale fenn and deegan. 6 of them probably would have started for us against derry. There's no way we can compete with that all season, or derry imo. 3rd or 4th is the best I would be hoping for. Off course in one game we might beat them but not over 36 games.

Should be a good crowd and atmsophere after the wins against derry and bray, hopefully we can all get behind the team from the off.

Rossiter is out injured for Bohs.

Powell ain't a bad deputee though. Fenn injured too but again it won't affect them much. Our defence has been shaky so far this season up until the derry game. Derry, with all the possesion they had, didn't create that many clear cut chances. Our defence will need to be on top of their form too keep out the likes of crowe, byrne, brennan, ndo and carey.

yes but looks like Powell is back fit again so no major loss there. In fact ive been less than impressed by what ive seen of Rossiter this season compared to last...

i'll go back to my lurking now...
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.

I agree with that. From what I seen of him I thought Powell was very good, last season anyway.

This is going to be one of the hardest games of the season. Anything we get from it will be a bonus. Hopefully Bohs won't perform as well as they can

Lads. it's very possible we'll come back down to earth with a big bump tomorrow night.

Great and all as the two wins have been Bohs will be a different proposition altogether - but who knows.

At least our fittness levels are getting to where the need to be in order to compete with the top teams but even if things don't go our way tomorrow night hopefully the relegation doom and gloom band wagon won't be dragged out the gutter straight away.

I really hope I'm totally wrong as the match also forms part of a eleven year olds birthday party but I fear a Bohs win, 2 - 0.

Pity www.sligorovers.com are off the air again as we need a really good build up to the Bohs match, I see some details have been given elsewhere, thanks for that. We need a big crowd tomorrow night and although it will be tough against the Bohs, I think the Derry match was a more difficult match to win. As I said before the Derry game, the Sligo vocal support is so important, so lets make sure the BIT hear us, even if things do not go well in the early stage. We beat Bray and Derry and both of those teams drew tonight so without getting carried away we do seem to have something going for us.

As for the Derry game I wouldn't write off our chances of sneaking a win if everything goes our way, but a draw would be a massive outcome for us.
We've shown now that we can grab a goal when we get the chance so if we can keep a clean sheet anything's possible.
Bohs are a serious outfit though and they were masters of grinding out the results last season. It'll be a tough night for Ventre in particular I'd imagine.
Hoping for a big crowd. Going for a one one draw. Morrisson to grab a goal for us. Come on the bit o red.

2 1 to Rovers. Stennie with the equaliser and Harry to chip the keeper from the half way line.

Hopefully we can get a draw out of this, we never give Bohs an easy game at the Showgrounds, but they still won their games here last season by the 1 goal . So if we play against them the way we dd last season and attack them like we did against Derry we can something out of this. Going for a 1-1 draw, I can see Raff,Boco or Morrison getting the goal.
    Coleman for Ireland
