Roddy vows PA investigation
Derry City chairman Jim Roddy has promised to investigate the broadcast of a particular piece of music over the Brandywell public address system in the aftermath of Saturday night’s promotion/relegation final second leg between Derry City and Finn Harps.
Derry won the game on a 2-1 scoreline, but the game was mired in controversy after three Harps men, manager Noel King and players Shane Bradley and Kevin McHugh, were shown red cards and players from both sides became involved in a melee on the pitch during the course of extra-time.
