No great lose .... the blob has never shown he is worth all the fuss made of him at the start. Obviously dont know the sceal at bohs but you never here of him at all.
Just saw a post on thebohs mb saying that Bohs have realeased their coach Liam O'Brien as a cost cutting excercise.
Champions!

hope the lousy cúnt spends the rest of his life in misery without ever getting another job. scum
Think he's been on the coaching staff since Pete Mahon? Things must be even tighter this year if they are cutting the coaching staff. I wonder have they managed to offload many of their players yet??
I remember seeing him play for City on his debut. Had a few nice touches...pity there was no staying power! Is a sign of the times though that City stopped bringing back has-been professionals a few seasons ago.
Am I missing something? I know that he was never a great player for the one season that he was with us for, but surely this is a bit OTT Eanna?Originally posted by Éanna

I agree with Niamh that things must be tight this year with Bohz if they are letting coaches go.
As I say, we're just young & a bit nieve.
Esp with Shels troubles, the homeless without the money to finish their residence.
I would love to see City up there with the best fighting it out, but I think they'd be crazy to get carried away with themselves financially. There is still not a lot of money in the league.
Ah Éanna you really have a special relationship with him dont you?Originally posted by Éanna

There was talk on the Bohs MB that it is really just him being sacked due to general crapness and being covered up as a cost cutting exercise. Alot of the Bohs fans wanted him out anyway.
Oh no not them again
Ah...what would we do without eL fans lurking on each others boards to find out the latest talk!!
good post previous about moving on from bringing back end of road guys from across the water but i did expect more from o brien as the season before he got man of the match on his last game with tranmere eventhough he wasnt holding down regular place(wierd i know), and fact he was irish thought he might av had more heart.
we av had a few stinkers anybody remember trevor brooking think he had playermanager role for only 3mths and then out the gap. although we could do with finding maybe another dave hill for us this season??
he was never even a fúckin player! he just hung around on the pitch doing nothing waiting for the train back to the pale and his pay check. oh and he threatened to slap me for calling him judasOriginally posted by Troy.McClure

The entire pitch is a bit of an exaggeration.Originally posted by Éanna
he just hung around on the pitch
He only ever hung around the centre circle!!
Champions!
Coundn't agree more,a total waste of space the blob was indeed.
According to Irishfootballonline he left so he could persue a career in management. So now he can hang around de dugout doing nothing ...
leave him hang around wherever he wants, once it's not turners x.
Would he be touting himself for the Shams job?
God Bless them!
I'd actually feel sorry for them. Even rovers don't deserve that sack of shíteOriginally posted by Neil

Have to disagree with ya there. They could be a match made in heaven.
The blob might be the final piece of the jigsaw that could finally see the scum relegated out of the top flight.

would hate to see the rovers relegated
these are the games we enjoy at the cross and i reckon most of the group here check for the rovers games when the fixtures come out at the start of every season
Now that would be a seriously bad move .... that is all they need right now. We need ot keep as many team in the league as possible, and Rovers folding wont help that.Originally posted by Neil
