LOI Prem Div midweeks - PP

Bohs at almost even money v Galway is the pick of the lot for me. They will be out to prove a point and Galway are gonna be beaten eventually.

I'm gonna lump on a double of ourselves and Bohs.

    Home | Draw | Away

    Cork City v Drogheda United
    4 - 7 | 12 - 5 | 9 - 2

    Dundalk v Shamrock Rovers
    5 - 4 | 21 - 10 | 15 - 8

    Galway United v Bohemians
    11 - 4 | 21 - 10 | 10 - 11

St Patrick's Athletic v Derry City
    6 - 4 | 11 - 5 | 6 - 4

    Sligo Rovers v Bray Wanderers
    11 - 10 | 11 - 5 | 21 - 10

rovers and bray look value as does the Derry Pats draw.
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.

I wouldn't touch Rovers away to Dundalk - would back the draw if anything, but if there's a winner it'll be Dundalk I feel.

Cork, Bohs and ourselves to win this week for me. Tenner on gets me 63 back if it pulls through. Heres hoping.

I would be tempted to put Derry in it as well, but think to be on the "safe side" im not gonna. Although if i put the same tenner on id get 157.50 back. Decisions, decisions...

There's nothing there that would entice me to bet this week. No real bankers. The only thing close would be Cork at home, but Drogheda will play for a draw there and Cork might struggle to score.

I'll be sitting these ones out.

    Bray now 3.95 on Betfair.
Hacketts go slightly better @ 3/1, seems a value bet to me.

Also over 2.5 is 2.58 in the same game. Bray's last 3 games have been over 2.5 while 2 of Sligo's 5 games have been overs.

    St Pats -V- Derry City

Like last Friday evening I will be opposing Pats once again for tonight’s game. I felt on Friday they would miss both Dempsey and Leech, tonight should be the same I reckon. St. Pat’s will be forced to continue without the injured quartet of Mark Leech, Gary Dempsey, Garreth O'Connor and Stephen Maher. Pats will have to rejig their side while Derry have a nice headache of seeing some players coming back from injury and suspension. They welcome back Delaney, Deery, and Farren. The latter being the most welcome and hopefully the top striker can bag a couple of goals tonight. Derry must be oozing confidence at the moment as they are top of the league and are currently unbeaten. They had a slight slip up at home to Galway in their last game drawing 1-1. They created many chances in that one but they failed to convert them. Galway only had one shot and they nicked a goal from it. This will be Derry’s third visit to the capital already this season. They’ve already played Bohs, finished a draw and Rovers, took the three points home. In the Rovers game they showed a lot of fight, went 1-0 down, had a man sent off and still managed to win 2-1. This punter reckons they’ll be leaving Dublin with three points once again. Derry to win 2-0 and Farren to make his way onto the score sheet.

    Cork City -V- Drogheda United

The match will see the two managers, Alan Mathews and Paul Doolin, return to their former clubs. Two of whom are both boring defensive *******s. Drogheda will happily sit back in this once hoping to frustrate the home side and nick a scoreless draw.

Derry City to win @ 3.05 (Betfair) - 1 pt
    Backing No Goalscorer (Cork V Drogs) @ 7/1 (Boyles) - 0.25 pt

Kudos to RR once again. Wouldn't have foreseen a 3-0 even with my glasses.

Derry ran out comfortable winners, 3-0 in the end. Unfortunately Cork managed to nick a goal in the other game.

Next up: Overs in the Kildare -v- Mervue game
