Captain Jay O'Shea returns to the fold for Galway United as they head north to take on Derry City at the Brandywell Stadium on Friday evening; Kickoff 7.45pm.
O'Shea was on international duty with the Irish U-21's over the past week and started both games against Spain and Turkey. He also scored the opening goal in the International Friendly against Spain at the Waterford RSC.
Galway United Manager Ian Foster is without the suspended Jason Molloy and Declan Edwards, both serving one match suspensions. John Russell's recovery continues and he will be involved in Galway United A Championship fixture this weekend. United will also be 2/3 weeks without Shane Fitzgerald who is recovering from an ankle injury.
