Ref had a decent game, however the peno that Claremorris got was not a foul, I think the ref was making up for missing a possible handball 5 mins earlier. Draw would have been fair, but in football its not always fair and credit where credit is due Claremorris kept going to the end and got their reward. I think Swinford switched off at 2nil up and then again at 3-2 up!!

are these illegalities effecting all the games they have played? did this come up at league meeting.

this was said a few weeks ago in the page. had to come to head at some stage pity from charlestown good team this year.

Just to clear some things up. All players on Charlestowns books have played with this club since underage. It is at our request that the fixtures are posponed due to names submitted to the mayo league and them in turn asking us not to play certain players. We have asked for our games to be postponed until all matters are resolved and not be forced to play without a full squad. Once again i invite anybody to view our registeration books for the last number of years and see its the same players year in year out, but apparently someone took a hiding from us and went home crying and decided to derail our season. Well done to you.

Surely if the Mayo League has questions over certain players then all they have to do is take up your invitation to look at your books. Have they not done this ? It beggars belief that if it's so clear cut they haven't thrown any objections out. If players are properly signed and have not played for other clubs what can they issue be?
