I'm looking for a cricket game for the PC. Anyone got any recommendations?

Brian Lara International Cricket 2005 was by far the best, for all its quirks. BLIC 07 was rubbish, though, stick with the older game.

the international cricket captain series are good, sort of the cricket equivalent of football manager

I should have said I was looking for the cricket version of Pro-Evo rather than Football Manager. I'll have a look for Brian Lara 2005. I've heard good things about EA Sports Cricket 2007.. Anyone played it?

Stick cricket is pretty good alright. I wanted a game with bowling though. I picked up EA Cricket 07 yesterday for 15 squids and I'm getting addicted already.

Do go to planetcricket.net and get all the patches. I made a video diary for a while. Might give you a taster of the modding you can achieve. great game for the aul test matches!!

Where did you see it? I've only ever seen version of Lara in Game.

Not a console man, but I reckon there's no chance. The market is very limited (India isn't a big purchaser of games) and there are no cricket games in production anywhere at the moment, as far as I know.

I saw that, but with a release date of June 2008 I wonder is it still alive.

Sorry, didn't notice the release date.

I know there is beach cricket in a game called 'Beach Sports' or something like that. Not supposed to be great though.
