65000ish
It will still be one of the top (if not the top) attendance on the night all across Europe. We tend to forget that.
Just wondering how big of a crowd is expected for the Bulgaria game,
being that tickets are still available. Its a shame it's not a sell out
for such an important game.

"Football is a game you play with your brain".
would agree,![]()
I'm not sure we'll get to 65,000. The Hill is closed tomorrow night and the Bulgarians are situated in section 301/302. I'll go for 55,000.
no it wasnt it was around 45k at that game dunno where you got 65k from
I googled ireland georgia attendance and this page was the first one returned: http://soccernet.espn.go.com/report?id=236144&cc=5739
although according to this - http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/prelimi...19/report.html - it was 45,000Stadium: Croke Park, Ireland
Attendance: 65,000
Match Time: 19:45 UK

Jouni Hyytia (Referee)
I don't think there's anything official on fai.ie (at least I can't find anything) and I don't remember the attendance being announced at the game
Oh sh!t I total forgot about the Bulgarian crowd. That 301/302 would be quite near our Singing Section (?). I'm sure there are plenty of Bulgarians in Ireland, I really hope it's not another embarrassing case of being humiliated by the away support (e.g Poland, Romania and China)![]()
<insert witty remark>
I reckon there will be very few seats free. yes the hill wont be used, so all in all i expect circa 65k attendance. The georgia attendance was announced at 48k on the night, which looked about right.
there wouldn't be that many bulgarians in ireland i wouldn't have thought, might be wrong but they could come over from the uk(london) so there might be relatively large amount of away following.
im really not sure on attendance, as is said if we get over 60k that is among the best attendances in all of europe, and for 4.5 million people its fairly good.
Some the bigger countries will struggle to get 65,000 at there own games tomorrow night.
I think 65,000 is very decent crowd although I think myself we be closer to 70,000
dont see there being many spare seats myself
Bulgarians will be in lower Cusack where Poles were (going by stadium plan).Listening to the Ryan show yesterday the football guy from the Sunday World was predicting a crowd of up to 50.000.With 69,000 seats when the hill is not in use, I think somewhere in the low sixties should be about right, as previous posters have mentioned, will probably be Europes biggest crowd on the night.
I think people should take into consideration the size of our population the recession and ticket prices and still we will have the one of the biggest attendences in Europe tonight.

Look at the Wales game now. 20,000 or 25000 for home game against Finland, why did they not play it in Swansea's new Liberty Stadium.
In Trap we trust
60,002 was the attendance announced
Who is this guy, Trapper Tony?
