    Fines

    From here.

Cork City were fined €100 as a result of flares/fireworks set off by their supporters v Sligo Rovers (07.03.09).

Sligo Rovers were fined €100 as a result of flares/fireworks set off by their supporters v Cork City (07.03.09)...even though it was Cork fans, not Rovers.

Sean Connor (Manager, Dundalk) suspended for FOUR (4) competitive matches as a result of being removed from the technical area v Bohemians (06.03.09). For this four match suspension, Mr Connor is to remain away from the dressing room, technical area and pitch for at least two hours before the matches as well as during the matches and for one hour after the matches and must be seated in the stands.

He'll be in the stands for our game with them
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.

...feared for your safety?...Only people who feared for their safety in Sligo were the City players who had to run up and down on that ploughing patch they call a pitch...

Fear for your safety? Try going for a pint without being met with the a sea of hormonal young fellas, Burberry brigade!!

It says that our fans let off a flare which isn't true so is there a chance to appeal? Also nothing about the harps game?

His little gesture to the Bohs fans about their money in his back pocket didn't help his case either I'd say, the w****r!
The fight is won or lost far away from witnesses - behind the lines, in the gym, and out there on the road, long before I dance under those lights.

Some of your fool fans should not have been let in that night at all, never mind thrown out. I seen some of the danny dwyer burberry tits shouting and chasing a few middle east lads up in an estate beside the ground when i was on the way down to the game.
Manager: Fergal, have you your boots with ya?
Fergal: Ya, I have them here.
Manager: Ah good stuff, well give them to this man so, he forgot his!

To be fair now wahtever about a "Buberry Brigade". Although I only saw roughly 3 city fans in Burberry. If you were in the sligo singing section you would have noticed Sligo fans approaching the city section and making hand gestures aas if to be looking for a fight and some of these people were easily in there 30's.

There are a very small number of ejits who react that sit in that section, but they only react. There was one special lad from the burberry brigade who came up to sligo to act naughty, who didn't even watch the game he was just doing Danny dyer impressions all game and making gestures. It was embarrassing, bad for the game, the league and by all rights he and the likes should be tied to the back of the bus and dragged home

Anyway terrible that we got a fine doesn't seem to fair as there is onl so much frisking and searching stewards can do.

I seen at least 15 "Danny Dyer's" coming into the ground at the start from Cork.

Hard men, were looking for a fight with basically a bunch of kids.
