Nice wig, Jack. Shame about the manager.

Sounds a good signing. Fairly happy we've you beaten and out of the way already (for the first round anyway)

Could be a good appointment for Limerick. Will he be travelling up and down from Dublin for training etc?.

I'll give it 3 weeks & then he wont like the shape of some fellas head down there & it will be all over. This is a fight waiting to happen.
I just sit down at the typewriter & start hittin the keys, just hittin the keys. Getting them in the right order though thats the trick, thats the trick.

Seems a long way for him to go, is he not a taxi driver based in dub ?

Good appointment, hes good at finding players from nowhere to do a job for ya, just look at Kilkenny and then he took half of them to Rovers, expect them to be tough to break down. He builds his teams on defence.

He started out at Kilkenny and did unbelieveably well with them. Completely turned them around at the time and get them to the premier division. Signed some great players for them as well. If anything, he is far better equipped now to manage Limerick. Good signing, he'll do well.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Yeah cause Kilkenny really took off as a club after Scully left. 4th was a miracle for them that year

Great appointment by us in my opinion. Recognisable face for the barstoolers, proven track record and from what I hear he's quite the tactician, which is just what we need in this already skilled side

Didn't get them to the Premier Division though, which was the point being corrected.

Scully has proven he can do great things with very little money. While his teams dont play the most attractive of football, they consistantly get the job done. He did wonders with Kilkenny, and indeed with us, on a tight budget.

I think its a great appointment by Limerick.

Yeah, terrific move by Limerick. He's relatively high profile and has proven he can manage at the lower level with Kilkenny and Rovers

He'll rub a few people up the wrong way but I've no doubt Limerick will be better because of this appointment.

I'd expect Limerick to have a couple of lads on loan from sone of the Dublin premier clubs now too.
