Good manager and a good appointment . . . but if ever there was a fight waiting to happen, this is it I fear. Anyway, good luck to Limerick, hope ye are up challenging at the top this year
"Billy Corgan, Smashing Pumpkins."
"Homer Simpson, smiling politely."
sit on the fence there LTID....A COMPETITIVE 4th or 5th,whats all that about.we have finished there for the last 2 seasons and you settle for that again.we are supposed to have a talented squad sprinkled with experience... .... and now have a top notch boss,it has to be at least the playoffs...no excuses
Like that, I havent seen Fingal yet but from what I have seen of UCD and Shels, Shelbourne could learn from the college boys. Whether the young and relatively inexperienced UCD side can maintain that level of creativity and organised control for the rest of the season or not remains to be seen.
I like to raise expectations.
We haven't been playing great but the fact that we have maximum points even while playing below par can only be a good sign.
Limerick didn't seem up to much for most of the match but that'd be expected under a brand new manager. But they gave us a fair few scares towards the end of the match and we were lucky to hold on.
Not saying you were bad or anything but just in comparision to UCD you were not as good. That is all.
Performances count for nothing in this league. 12 points from 12 says it all really.
Lets redefine what it means to heal
True. Just saying from what I saw that UCD looked the stronger of the 2 sides.
