I'd say it'll not be blocked on RTE in the UK, the reason being is that any game RTE show that is shown on Sky or Setanta they blank it out, on this instance it isn't the case therefore I think it'll be on, RTE is on UK Sky channel 161 & 162

biddy mulligans are "considering it"

If I call back later I'll know for sure. Hopefully that will do it.

I didn't know that about RTE on Sky. Thanks everyone.

where do you live Colmcc? I don't have RTE on my sky box. Does anybody know if there is any way of tuning the frequency to pick it up?

RTE is not on SKY in the UK...unless things have change very recently?....Channels 161 nd 162 are not on the list of channels. I went to a bit of trouble to a get an Irish Sky viewing card last year, which now works but RTE is blocked from transmission for UK based viewing cards...to my knowledge at least.
I thought you were off the drink Ronnie?

I'm just outside Belfast and have a UK digibox, the details for RTE are on the following, if you go to add channels in service and select the following details in order and then I think it's add you'll be able to pick them up, however they have channel numbers assigned through my box on 161 & 162

10744 H
tp 43

SR 22000
FEC 5/6

Loads.

I'll be watching it in The Corrib Rest in Queen's Park (Bakerloo Line).

I'm sure there'll be a few in Cricklewood & Kilburn.

I watched the rugby in Connolly's in Chiswick and they had RTE.

Claddagh Ring in Hendon is a big one.

Maybe clutching at straws here, but I reckon it may be live on BBC website?

Usually they put 'Live Text Commentary' when it's not a video broadcast?

Fingers crossed

Spotted it there myself now. I've checked through Scotland, Wales, England etc and it refers to 'live commentary' or 'five live radio coverage' etc etc. Saves me going to the pub if it's true

It's saying the same thing at this url address:

I'm pretty sure you can only get RTE in Ireland, not Britain, unless it's changed recently.

I think I should the parachute, because I'm great.

In fact, I think I should get both parachutes, in case one doesn't work.
