3/1 is a very good price alright for CSKA. Defo worth a few quid. Can't see United winning this with the amount of players out (5 i think) and with Sunday's match in mind as well. I reckon United can still qualifiy if they lose thise game.

On another note, i was reading Liverpool's online shop has sold out of beachballs and they reckon United fans have purchased a load of them for the game on Sunday. Great banter ! much better than what normally goes on between the 2 sets of fans.

walk in the park for United last night. A number of key players missing and they still get the job done. Strength in depth is what keeps you in contention trophies.

O'Shea was in MF last night and tidied up nicely. Didn't impose himself greatly on the game but did his job and left the fancy stuff to Scholes (beautiful passing again). Nani looked dangerous but was still too wasteful.

Gary Neville and Scholes were Uniteds best players last night.

Nani is the most wasteful player Ferguson has ever signed. I class him as Man United's answer to Aiden McGeady. By that I mean, he gets it in his head that he doesn't have to do the simple pass or cross the ball when there is space to do so instead he gets this urge to take on 5 players and ultimately doesn't get past the first player!

United were useless! Well Done Liverpool.

    A few gripes though:
    -Rio Ferdinand is crap!
    -Nani is crap!
-Luis Valencia couldn't cross the road.
-Andre Marriner is a bottler and the newest addition to my list of enemies!
-What does Jamie Carragher have to do to get sent off?
-What does Lucas have to do to get a yellow card? Was he ridin the referee? 6 blatant fouls and no yellow card!

    No probably about it!

John O'Shea wasn't helped by Valencia. He let O'Shea down big time by constantly pulling out of tackles and generally positioning himself too close to O'Shea.

I'm a bit surprised that Whiskey nose didn't start Anderson who would probably contribute more energy and flair in the midfield than Carrick

would agree .. also what is up with fletcher is he injured .. all over the pitch utd 2nd best ,,, liverpool left back terrible and still valencia could not cross in a ball and giggs not much better on other wing utd had nothing up front berbatov looks so lazy even rooney looked off pace but in fairness he's been injured for last week -10 days ,, utd midfield was terrible and centre defense very shaky ferdinand out muscled by torres for goal ... liverpool were there to be taken today but utd never had a go at them looked like fergie sent them out looking for a draw today ... after todays performance i would say more of a crisis at utd than liverpool

Liverpool deserved the win but Man Utd were very poor. When I saw the line up I knew the midfield was in trouble. Benitez was spot on tactically. He made sure Johnson didn't bomb forward and had Aurelio to track back and cover Insua. Lucas and Masha just got stuck into Carrick and Scholes and they were forced into mistakes.

O'Shea passing was disgraceful today. Watch how many times he gave the ball away in the first 10 minutes.... His long punt to nobody ended up giving Liverpool the ball for the 1st goal.

Van Der Sar and Evra were the only Man Utd players to come out of the game with any credit.

The ref? Bizarre. How many niggling fouls can Lucas and Masha get away with in 1 game? Torres trips over himself and Evra gets booked. I thought United should have had two penalties. Carragher should have been sent off and Vidic should have let Kuyt run on because he'd have probably missed!!

would disagree on penaltys .. but agree on ref lucas at least 7 -8 fouls & no booking nobody can say after today utd always get ref's decisions and don't hear to many complaining about the 6 -7 mins injury time at end of game also

Agger took out Giggs in the first half and that was a foul.

I keep watching the Carragher/Carrick incident and it looks like a foul to me.

looked like carragher just got a touch on ball first and ref was only 4-5 feet away looking straight at tackle .. also hardly any reaction by utd players calling for penalty... but have also seen penalties given for less

In the 1st 10 mins anytime O'Shea went to pass Valencia was standing next to him. Valencia's effort level today was a disgrace, he didn't chase the ball or close down another player once.

I agree about Van Der Sar. I'm a big Evra fan but I thought it was his worst game this season....gave away too much ball and wandered around aimlessly for 90 mins.
If Dirk Kuyt was any bit good Liverpool would have won by 5 or 6 because the space Evra was giving him in the box was a joke.

agree with you on evra smashing player but when switches off in games he is terrible . he let lucas run past him in midfield in the build up for liverpool 2nd goal and made very little effort to chase back but overall utd were 2nd best all over the pitch
