In Trap we trust
I didnt say that - I said that at their best, Liverpool are better than mdy could have lived with Liverpool at home against Real Madrid for example and for 10 minutes against arsenal they were awesome
But they are carrying some passengers and overall man U are better and more consistent
DB Cooper is alive !
How come no one speaks of the elephant in the sitting room?
Remember refeering decisions in the Bolton and Spurs games . THAT'S where the league was won!
Benitez congratulated Man U on winning the league so what more can be said. Think the attack on him from Ferguson and Fat Sam might have something to do with him not congratulating Fergie by name. Just my guess.
I've said it before on another thread and I'll say it again.
Man City beat United twice last season but this does not make them a better team. Liverpool bottled it in January and Man Utd proved their credentials (once again) by winning x games on the bounce like champions.
Liverpool have the biggest squad in the Premiership. Fact. If he offloaded all this excess wastage then maybe he could afford to bring in new players on decent wages.

62 players.
The best team wins the league over the season. Don't see the point in arguing over results during the season and squads.
And indeed it turned out to be a small matter
I agree. I had a lot of time for Benitez the person before this season. Never liked his style of play or choice of players but at least he seemed gracious in defeat (and victory). He's has come across bitter and jealous this season. The talk about money is just stupid. You don't hear Martin O'Neill saying the only difference between Villa and Liverpool is they have more money. Stupid talk and for the record there hasn't been much between the clubs spending really, both massive amounts since Benitez arrived-
Facts in figures
£221.95m: Manchester United’s gross spend on transfers (£147.90 million net) since June 2004, when Rafael Benítez was appointed Liverpool manager, up to and including January 2009 transfer window
£212.60m: Liverpool’s spending (£111.39 million net) during same period
Yes because it's a fact that United would have drawn/lost both those matches and everybody knows that leagues are won over two matches, not 38. Also if you want to go down that road Bolton had a perfectly good goal disallowed against Liverpool (by the same referee) and Alonso scored from a free kick that never was against Hull. Pointless argument I admit.

People liked Benitez because he was too nice and he played the game. He was called arrogant, unfairly, by Ferguson. Why should he praise someone who insults him? What type of person would?
He has praised the club, end of story.

I dont know what the big issue is here, stop getting your knickers in a twist, the league table doesn't lie. The best team over the league season wins it and this season that was United. However, Liverpool have progressed in the league. Personally, I think it was a golden opportunity to win the league and it was wasted over the new year period. This summer is massive. Rafa messed up in the transfer market last season. I dont buy any of this Parry nonsense and Rafa doesnt fool me for one sec with his political games. Not one of his signings were good enough.
I think united will be strong again next season with or without Tevez. I am very worried about Chelsea. I have to admit that I like Hiddink, the man. He has a certain dignity about him that I really like and IF Chelsea manage to keep hold of him for next season, I cant see anyone else beating them over a league season. I know he is going but I just have a sneaky suspicion that he may stay for another season. If he goes, Ancelotti will most likely come in. His style mirrors that of JM. Chelsea in that mold will be right up there in the title race.
Looking at Arsenal on Saturday, they are not as far off the pace as people think. With 1 or 2 good experienced defensive signings and an season free of widespread injuries, they will come right back into the picture.
As special note for Roy Hodgson and Fulham. From relegation to europe. A brilliant season by a club that I have always had a soft spot for. Lovely place to go and watch a game of football (when you dont have a restricted view seat). Hodgson is a true gent of the game. Well done, sir. Danny at the hub as well. SW6 is wonderful and all that.
Agree with most of your post but not sure where this line came from.
Should be anyway assuming Spurs don't win at Anfield coupling with them losing at home to Everton. Totally agree though Hodgson is a top man. His response to Redknapps opinion on foreign refs was great last week as well. Fulham are actually very good to watch as well despite their lack of goals and watertight defence.
