Great retort! that answers my question perfectly. nufff said.
If you can't see the libelous nature of the posts there is no point in me trying to explain them to you. You have your opinion and I have mine. Thats life pal, deal with it.
You should spend more time brushing up on your grammar.
Bye now.

Bonovox your arguement is that the fans on this forum are defending the club because the post printed untrue facts which the fans feel would put off attracting new fans. How can you actually argue with that and say Donns article was brilliant when it was full of false statements??
Donn has written good things about the club in the past and also some bad things which when they where true nobody argued with them. Its only that the things he has written recently have been false and his facts have been totally wrong that people are defending the club.
Maybe Limerick FC should look at sueing the journalist. That would put a stop to a lot of the misinformation being put out.

The club hasn't got money to be wasting on lawyers, maybe if Andrew Mawhinney had a chat with the journo in question that might be a more amicable way to deal with it.

i'm aware of that just, havin a go at that wum Bonovox.I think a good article from the post about the new headquaters and see whats happening out there would go a long way to smoothing things over.

Thank God people are waking up to this guy
The Roy Curtis of Limerick media!
I bet he loves reading this.
I think we should let it go and just talk about football here
Close the thread and dont give this guy any more of our time.
Great reply Neil.

Just seen the letter printed in the current Limerick Post. Well done on writing in, as it was great to read something from a fans point of view in the paper.
I thought the columnist was a tad sarcastic in his small piece after the printing of the letter. That may just be my reading of it, but well done to him on printing a letter of criticism at his coverage of Limerick FC also
I agree, a little sarcasm never hurt anyone, and yes he did print the letter from Neil without reservation. That's his style. I already said I didn't agree with his article but Neil responded well and that should be it.
This is turning into a witch hunt and it seems a little out of order. Some of you would rather not have any coverage on the club at all, good or bad. It's about opinions and a lot of you are very voiciferous yorselves in a negative manner towards the club when it suits you. Give the guy a break.

i agree,if donn hadnt written his article(negative though it was)neil would not
have gotten his excellent piece printed.
there is no such thing as bad publicity and donn has created a bit of contraversy and debate which is after all his job
as for not reading any negative stuff on the club or indeed ourselves, come on!
that would only make us one-dimensional and paranoid!
recognise anyone???![]()
anyone seen the "Super Blues News" page in this weeks Indo? Thats what a media sponser is for.Excellent coverage of whats happening at Limerick FC this week.
Time to forget whats his name in the whatyoumaycallit and get behind the Independent.![]()

Saw that in the Indo alright, good stuff from them, especially when you throw it up against the Leader's 'coverage' of the Scully signing![]()
Looks like Donn has learned his lesson from this weeks edition of the post. Mostly positive all round, in fact positive everywhere so thats good to see. Im still not his biggest fan but he has done good promotion of the club in this weeks addition. More of the same please![]()
