    Shels Game

    Howiye lads,

    heard a few rumours last night that next weeks game (marked down for Saturday) will now be played on Friday due to egg chasing game. Just wondering if this is true or not? Cheers

    It's a joke that a league game is being brought forward due to a Rugby game and the kick off times didn't even clash . Our board are worse for even accepting the fixture change!

    It's hardly just 'a rugby game'.
    The times mightn't clash exactly, but a huge chunk of our fanbase will be watching the Grand Slam match in the pub, myself included.
    Don't even attempt to insult everyone's intelligence by telling us they're all going to leave the pub afterwards to zig-zag out to the RSC for the footie.

    Apparently our original first choice was a 2pm kick-off on the Saturday, btw, so it's quite possible the Friday was your board's choice. Either way it's the common sense decision.

    FAI wouldn't give us clearance for 2pm Saturday...... because it clashes the English premiership!
