Best of luck to Chalkie on his new career as manager of the six time FAI Cup champions, Fairview Rangers. Derek was one of, if not the most dedicated and passionate players ever to wear a Limerick shirt, and I'd like to wish him all the very best...unless we draw them in the FAI Cup next season.
I couldn't agree more with the above sentiments. Derek is my all-time favourite Limerick player, a man who gave so much to the club and always wore his heart on his sleeve. An absolute legend!
We could also benefit from this as relations between Limerick and Fairview can only improve I would imagine.
